Getting To Know Me

Music is a form of storytelling. Through the music we create, we can share ourselves with others and build connections through those shared stories and experiences. I would love to work with you and take this opportunity to further explore how music can be used to comfort, heal and make connections.

I am an accredited music therapist and work in a variety of clinical settings. Additionally, I have many years of experience in hospice care within and outside the context of music therapy. I have consistently received positive feedback from employers, clients and colleagues and am often described as having a calming and empathetic presence.

Music has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I started piano lessons at 8 years old and have since fallen in love with expressing myself through music. Throughout my musical journey, I have been a part of multiple choirs, composed many pieces of music and am an avid lover of musical theatre.

As an accomplished musician and composer, I understand the benefits that one gains through creating music. I bring creative music making opportunities to my clients and have facilitated songwriting in multiple support groups. I have also had the honor of writing songs with clients to remember lost loved ones.
